会計監査の中身については世間には全く知られておりませんが、この面白さ・楽しさが少しでも伝わればいいな、と思いこの『事件簿』の連載をしておりました。

かつて私は、弁護士や警察官、検事はドラマになるけれど、会計士なんぞは書類と向き合って、クライアントと事務所の往復しかなく、ドラマになるような素材はない、と思っていました。
現に、映画やドラマに会計士は主役として出てくることはなく、脇役や三枚目くらいしか見たことがありませんでした。

でも、この本は私のそんな思い込みを打ち破ってくれました。
謎解きものとしては未熟な面もありますが、会計士の仕事の小説化という、今まで誰もやらなかったチャレンジ精神を評価したいと思い、星５つとしました。次回作にも期待したいです。

　今まで「会計士って税理士とどこが違うの？」「会計士って何をやっているの？」と聞かれて、困ることが多かった。監査を口で説明すると、どうしても専門的になってしまうし、つまらない話ししかできなかったからだ。

　しかし、今であれば、「まず、女子大生会計士の事件簿を読んでみて」と言うことができる。この本は会計士を説明するのに窮する会計士にとって福音書である。それも内容が面白い。実際の監査はもっと泥臭いが、実に登場人物がすがすがしくかっこよいのだ。こんな小説が出版されるのを待ち望んでいたのは私だけではあるまい。事件小説としての完成度も高い。弁護士を主人公にした小説は数多くあれど、会計士が活躍する小説は初めて読んだ。著者の将来性に星５つを付けたい。

私は会計の勉強はしたこともありません。ですので、本のなかで使われる会計用語などはほとんどわからなかったのですが、この本は、そんな煩わしさは微塵も感じさせません。内容がストーリーとして面白い（笑、涙、怒、そして恋）ので、読みながら知識が入ってくる。『美味しんぼ』のようなマンガを読んでいる感覚で楽しめ、読後はなんとなくほのぼのします。会計を勉強中のひとだけでなく、知的好奇心、安らぎを求めるひとには広くおすすめ。
