去年のクリスマス、中学一年生だった娘が「母さんが好きそうだから」と買ってくれたのです。本人も気に入っていたらしく、すごく手のかかったラッピングでした。そしてもらって。。。本当は私が娘に買ってあげたかったなと思いました。本当に素敵な本です！

内田也哉子さんの多才ぶりもすごいですが、なんといっても、渡辺良重さんのイラストがいいです。それも、グラシン紙かトレーシングペーパーのような薄紙（この紙質だけですでに参ってしまいます）にに描かれている絵が何層にも重なった世界をつくっています。

今年は娘にプレゼントしようと渡辺さんが所属するD-Bros製の渡辺さんでザインのカレンダーを奮発しました。これもかわいいですよ！

まずとにかく絵が優しい。そして文章も負けずに素晴らしい！

トレーシングペーパーに印刷された絵と文章は数ページ先までの展開と
からんで目の前に繰り広げられます。

本は工夫次第でまだまだいろんな見せ方があるんだなあと感心します。

そんな感心よりもこの本の全体を包む優しい雰囲気と感動をどうすれば
伝えられるのだろうかと悩んでしまうぐらい素晴らしい本です。

ホントだまされたと思って買ってみてください！

おとぎ話のようで、これは自分自身の物語。
はな歌のように流れていく言葉が、
幻のように浮かんでは残像のように残る文字とイラストによって、
くっきりと立体のイメージを作っていく。
単純な日常を思わせる言葉たちが生み出すイメージの連鎖。
生きていく中での愛しさと大切さを確認できる絵本。
言葉、イラスト、装丁のすべてが美しい本。
