観察する項目ごとに章が分かれており、見るべきポイント、その所見が何を疑えるのか、などシンプルかつ十分にまとめられています。
心電図を読む順番が身についている人にとっては、心電図からより深い病態を推測できるようになり、まさに「心電図センスを身につける」ことができる本だと思います。

一方で、まずリズムを観察し、P波を見てPR間隔を...などと言ったECGの『つかみ』の部分はほとんど解説されてないので、この本から心電図をはじめようというのはあまりおすすめできません。そして「AFとはこういう原理でこういう波形になって････」「AVNRTとAVRTの違い」など病態生理的なことは知っている前程の本です。それゆえむしろ『まとめ』に使うべき本なのかなという気がします。

初学なら「心電図のABC」「やってみようよ心電図」などのほうがお勧めできるかと思います。心電図読みのブラッシュアップには6000円の「心電図の読み方パーフェクトマニュアル」が良いと思います･･･あれ？この本の出番は？

ECGケースファイルと並べるとカッコイイ。

項目がP波、Q波、QRSなど各波ごとになっており、それぞれの波の異常はわかっても疾患についてのまとまった知識を得ようとしたり、系統的な心電図の読みかたを学ぼうとするとやや期待はずれかもしれません。心電図学習がある程度進んでいる人がこのような角度から改めて知識をまとめるには良さそうです。

ECG入門書。
調律、P、Q、R、ST、T、U・・･とそれぞれのパーツごとに異常の捉え方が書かれており、非常にわかりやすい。
学生〜研修医向けの一般的な内容中心。ECG以外の所見や検査との絡みについては深く触れていない。
数冊読んだECGの入門書の中では一番よかった。
