当直時の急患の場合は自分で腹部CTの読影をしないといけません。そんなときに心強い一冊です。
疾患そのものについての記載もしっかりあるので勉強になります。

　この本は、急性腹症における最大の武器である腹部ＣＴに関する極めて実戦的な本である。内容は、症例を呈示しながら、それらの症例の疾患について解説すると言ふ物で、第１章はヘルニアによる急性腹症、第２章は婦人科疾患による急性腹症、そして、第３章は虫垂炎、憩室炎、第４章は肝・胆・膵疾患、第５章は腸炎、腸管虚血、第６章はイレウス、第７章は消化管穿孔、第８章は、腹腔出血・大動脈解離、第９章は泌尿器疾患、と言ふ流れに成って居る。−−ヘルニアによる急性腹症を冒頭に持って来る事などに、この本の個性を感じられる。
　この本を読んで、急性腹症の診断がいかに盲点に満ち、診断を誤り易いか、を痛感するだけでも、貴重な事である。当直の夜は、この本を携える事をお薦めする。
