臨床の授業に入ったので呼吸器内科の勉強のために買いました。
この本の構成は、一つの症例があり、その身体所見や検査所見などが
まず並べられ、よく見るアプローチから確定診断をし、その病態生理とその病気を読むのに必要な生理学的知識の解説をする。そんな構成です。特筆すべきは分量の1/3が病気の事ですが2/3は呼吸生理の本となっている事。説明はとても丁寧ですが、この本が読者に求めている呼吸生理の基礎知識は、医学部で基礎医学をとりあえず終えてきた者にはちょっとハードルが高いような気もします。
たまに、なんで？という基礎知識も出てきます。
それは初学者故、なのかもしれませんが。
ですが、１歩ステップアップするには、ページ数的にも手頃な本です。
がんばって通読すれば、呼吸生理が見えてきます。

星４つとしたのは付属の問題についてです。各章の最後に５択くらいの問題がついているのですが、この問題は解答はあるのですが解説がありません。本を読み直すと根拠となる文はあるのですが、その根拠の文章がたまに次の章にあったりするので、初学者的にはイライラしてきます。
まあ、何回も見直す事が勉強だとしたならば、それも含めて良しとする
べきなのでしょうかね。

勉強するには最適な1冊だと思います。
