アメリカにいるアロマセラピストの友人から勧められました。初心者にもわかりやすく、エッセンシャルオイルのイロハを網羅し、主に精神面からアロマテラピーの効能に焦点を当てた奥深い座右の書。「エッセンシャルオイルの役目は、痛みを麻痺させることではなく、私たち本来の感受性を取り戻させることです。生きるとは、ものを感じることです」等、数々の言葉が心に響きます。

このジャンルではとても個性的な内容だと思います。

エッセンシャルオイル自体を擬人化したような表現をしながら、そのオイルに似た人間のパーソナリティを表している…ちょっと不思議な感じです。

占いがお好きな方にも楽しんで読んでいただけそう…
個人的には、とても好きな一冊です。

日本のアロマ業界はなんでこんなに閉鎖的なの？
もっと、アロマだけじゃない知識も得たい、どんな植物で、どんな育ち方をして、どんな特徴があって、どんな気持ちに同調してくれるのか・・・・
そんなことを求める私の欲求にぴったりな本。
人によって、同じ精油でも、効果って変わると思うんです。
それを、感覚で理解できる感じ・・・。
これを教科書に、自分で勉強していきます。
著者の、生きとし生ける物たちへの深い愛情に、尊敬の念を感じます。
