　★４の中ギリ。
　99年に発刊された同名タイトルな著者の３冊目にお蔵入りになっていた短編１編を加えた改訂新装版。

　追加されたのは、カラー４頁含む、ヨーニ学園女子陸上部で紅一点的存在の、ラブリーな男子マネージャー『森田レン』がオバカに大活躍するハッチャケエロドラマ『ランナーズ・ハイ』。

　オリジナル版との違いは、
　表紙と裏表紙はリニューアル。
　折り込み部分の２点のカラーイラストおよびカバー内イラストはオミット。
　作品解説含む当時の後書き３頁はそのまま残し、『ごあいさつ(改訂版によせて)』をイラスト入りで１頁追加。
　『dogs』『八角磨盤空裏走』『探偵故事』のキャライラスト入り作品解説を１頁ずつ追加。
　巻頭に４頁のステキなカラーイラストギャラリーを追加。

　『そ・ら・う』『制作快調』のコメントとイラストは頁の都合で『大丈夫 改訂版』に収録とのくだりがありますが、予め２冊購入予定の方以外には残念な構成でしょう。さらに肝心要の『ランナーズ・ハイ』のコメント無しがイタイですね。作家様としての誠意は充分に感じられますが、せっかくの新装版なので50円単価が上がっても、コレクターズアイテムとしてのベストは尽くして欲しかったです。

　個人的には大満足ですが、そんなワケで『大丈夫』の方も併せて買い直す方以外にはビミョーかもしれません。

　また、著者の単行本を一切所持してない方へなら、キャラ的にもお話的にも充分楽しめる内容ながら、作画・作品の完成度・エロ描写ともに現在のレベルには及びませんので、本来なら『シャイニング娘。』から入るのがベストですが、さすがに未知の作家様の単行本をいきなり６冊購入せよなどとは口が裂けても言えませんし、著者のベスト短編集『のせわすれ』はタイトル通りなので、『宴』か『精装追男姐』を好みに応じて先にチェックしてみるのが無難な選択だと思います。
