北方三国志は、男気にあふれていて読んでいて興奮した（特に戦のシーン）。作者は他の作家の三国志や『三国志演義』を読まずに、『正史』を基に書いたらしく、リアリティーの無い部分があまり無かったので、その点でも読んでいて楽しめた。

自分が一番印象に残っているところは、９巻の最後のシーンである。気付いたら涙がこぼれていた。他にも見所はたくさんあるので是非読んでほしい。
本編だけで無く読本も読むと、一層楽しむ事が出来ると思う。

１巻を手に取り、ページを開いた。「草原が燃えていた。」冒頭の文章から、見たこともないのに私の頭の中には鮮明な映像が描かれていました。最初は狭い範囲の映像が読み進むうちに広大な大地の映像に切り替わっていく・・・。今までにない経験でした。三国志に関しては、何の事前知識もないまま「ただ長編の物語が読みたい」という動機で、読めるのかな？との不安も持ちつつ、いきなり１３巻を購入しました。女性の私でも登場人物の人間描写には「義」という芯を強く感じたし、その価値観の相違によって生まれる「生き様、死に様」のもどかしさも十分に体験できました。涙したシーンは数知れず・・。すべて読み終えたのち、次はいつから読み始めようか？と思える大切な宝物になりました。

（漢じゃなくても）まとめ買いをおすすめする。

読み出したら止まらないので１冊ずつちまちま買ってられない。
北方先生の顔写真付きの真っ赤な箱もついてくるしお得。
