CDよりLPが好き。

別に『CDはデジタル音だ、音楽はアナログな音じゃなきゃダメだ』
などと時代錯誤な事が言いたいのではない。
ましてやiPod全盛の今、インターネットでダウンロードして音楽買う時代、クラブDJでもしてない限りアナログ盤など買わないだろう。

俺が好きなのは『音』ではなくて『ジャケット』。
過去の名盤と呼ばれたアルバムは、ジャケットが印象に残る。

アンディウォーホールが手掛けたストーンズの【スティッキーフィンガース】
意味深なメッセージが込められたビートルズの【アビロード】

ロックに限らずいいジャケットってのは結構いっぱいある。
Y.M.O.の一枚目なんかジャケット見て即買い。
それくらいインパクトが有った。

最近じゃ、CD全盛であまり凝ったジャケット見なくなった。
ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATIONのジャケットくらいか？
この「MUSIC GRAPHICS」はそんな日本のCDジャケットや、販促ツールのデザインを集めた本。
衝動買いで買ってしまった。
結構見応え充分。
誰をターゲットに、どんなコンセプトで作ってるかよくわかる。

載ってるものが日本のものだけなので、微妙なところ。
あと、比較的新しい物ばかり載っているのが、不思議。古いものでもいいジャケットあるのになぁ。
グッズ展開とかものっているので、何かしらの参考にはなると思う。
