ありふれた剣と魔法とファンタジーな世界観。
でもちょっと濃い性格のキャラクターたちと、溢れるばかりの元気な少女の物語。

主人公「アニス」は燃える様な赤い髪が特徴の女の子。幼いころに町の教会に預けられて育った孤児だった。
ところがある日町で魔法使いが暴走してしまい、呼ばれた竜により町は半壊してしまった。
そして育ての母シスター=ポーラから、「貴女を引き取りたいという方が居る･･･」と告げられた。

内容は「アニス」と「火の魔導師シド」、「変身魔法の使い手ビアンカ」、「剣士にして竜マニアのジーク」の4人をメインにして進みます。
引き取られ先でのドタバタ劇や、養父とのケンカ。ビアンカやジークの趣味につき合わされたりと1冊の中に色々詰め込まれていて、またお約束の悪い魔法使いなども出てきます。
突き詰めタイプですが割りとテンポよく読めました。

主に魔法使いと竜の話が多く独自の魔法解釈ですが、一般的にあるファンタジー小説のような魔法を思ってもらってかまいません。ただ使い方にこだわりが見えました。
(呪文詠唱とか属性とかのこだわりが特徴的。)
魔法使いと魔導師の独特の違い説明などもあってその手のファンにはウケが良いのではないかと思います。
個人的には、近頃の魔法ものファンタジー作品ではかなり気に入った作品です。近頃流行の萌え要素に走ってないのが更に良い。２巻を切にお待ちしております。

この作品で特徴的なのは間にあります。そのためがテンポの良いシーンに入っていているので、読む側はそこで一呼吸空けなければなりません。それを気が付かずに読み飛ばしてしまうと次のシーンで誰が喋っているか分からなくなり、慌てて半ページほど戻る事になります。主人公の性格上、細かいエピソードを縮める事が出来ず逆に膨らんでしまいそこが面白いが故に、他のシーンを削られてしまった様な印象も受けますが、登場するキャラクタ全てがまだまだ未知数な部分を秘めているため、今後の活躍に期待したいと思います。

これはもう完成されていて、前に、どっかで出版されてた「おばけのハウスキーパー」の話ように、なっていきそうだし、もう、これ以上発展性はないので続きは、やめた方がいいかもね。でも絵はものすごくかわいいしないようにあっているように感じます。このコンビでまた、新しいものを書いてくれたらなーと思います。
