   この作者の絵本は、他のシリーズも含めすべてがどこかでリンクしているが、ガラゴシリーズ第2弾となる本書は特にその傾向が強い。ガラゴのおうちに訪ねてくるお客さんたちを『バムとケロのおかいもの』に登場する市場で探してみよう。床屋のプルドちゃんがお土産にもってきたカルタも市場のとある店で売られている。きわめつけは、遅れて訪ねてくる最後のお客。そのうしろ姿に子どもたちは歓喜の声をあげるに違いない。帽子をかぶってコートを着てはいるけれど、その姿は明らかにバムとケロである。そんな小さな遊びがたくさん詰まった本書は子どもだけでなく、アート好きな大人へのプレゼントとしても最適。（小山由絵）

最近になりようやく「バムケロシリーズ」を購入。３歳の娘にとっても好評でしたので「ガラゴ」はどうかな~と思い本屋さんで読んでみると・・大ヒットです！！最初の「右と左違う色の靴をはいて・・」と言う所からみるみる娘を引きつけ、最後までひきつけっぱなし！！ガラゴのおうちの中や、たずねてくるどこか見たことがあるお客さん・・言うことなしです！！ぜひ「バムとケロのおかいもの」を見てから読んで欲しい本ですね。最後のお客さんに娘は大喜びでした。

バムケロを見て、ガラゴはどうなのかな？と思っていましたが
読んで見て、そんな心配は全く無用でした。
子どもにわかりやすい言葉とカワイイ絵。カバンのお風呂や
お部屋に掛けられた絵の可愛さ・・・
「今度は誰がくるのかな？」子どももわくわく！
何度見ても色々発見があり、何度でも楽しめる一冊です♪

ガラゴの世界一のお風呂！それは4歳の娘の大好きなものがそろっています。たっぷりの泡、おもちゃ、冷たい飲み物、そしてお友達。
出てくるキャラクターのかわいらしさはもちろん、細部にわたり丁寧に描かれた絵は異国を思わせ、大人も十分に楽しめる絵本だと思います。
他の方のレビューにもあるよう、島田ゆかさんの他の作品も読みたくなる本ですね。
今、ドイツで過ごしているのですが、こちらの幼稚園のお友達も楽しそうに見ています。翻訳されれば購入してプレゼントしたい作品です。
