昔ながらのおひつとか乾物と言われるものや、リサイクルを主にした本だけれど、ちっとも古くない。髪を染めるのにも体に優しいヘナを紹介してあるし、これもリサイクルなの？って言うような事も紹介されている。リサイクルをする上でどうしてもこまる古着などは送り先なども書いてあるので一冊手元にあると部屋にある荷物を減らせるかなあ・・・

皮膚が弱い私にも出来そうな自然の薬などの紹介もあるので、西洋医学に頼らずナチュラルでシンプルな生活をして行きたいなあ・・・

今は１つでも実践できるよう努力してます。

横書きで、実直で、暮らしの手帖社から出ていそうな
感じの本です（実際には違いますが）。

他の方も仰っているように、
俗に言う「エコ生活」入門篇、といった感じの本です。
全て白黒でカラーページや写真などは一つもありません。
なので、実直な印象を受けるのかも知れません。

おひつから布ナプキン、重曹、お酢の使い方、
お掃除、お洗濯の仕方など、特にエコ系じゃなくても、
少し家事を楽にしたい、という方には参考になると思います。

ただ、同じ著者でももう少しかわいい感じの本もあるので、
そちらの方がとっつきやすいかも知れません。

この著者の本は初めて読んだのですが、
この本に関しては、人に聞いたり集めた情報を
まとめて載せたというかんじで
著者自身の持つ情報の本というかんじはあまりしませんでした。
タイトルの割に内容はうすいというか、
たとえばそうじにはこういう道具があるとか重曹の使い道とか
食べ物ではマクロビオティックのことが少しでていたり
広く浅くといったかんじです。
誰でも知っていそうな内容も結構ありますが、
へぇ~と思う内容ももちろんありますし、
わかりやすく簡潔にイラストで説明してあるので
いろんな方法を知りたいという方にはいいかもしれません。
あまり深い内容を期待しなければ、あると便利な一冊だと思います。
