漢検１級の勉強は、単純に字を覚えるというだけでは頭の中に入ってくれません（少なくとも私はそうでした）。ですから、問題集をやった後の間違い直しは辞書で意味を確認しながら、ということになると思います。

でも、一般的な国語辞典や漢和辞典はもちろん、『漢字必携』にすら載っていない熟語がありましたので、これを購入しました。やはり、他の書籍と違って、調べやすいです。ただ、『完全征服』に出題されている熟語で、これにも載っていない熟語があるのはどうかと思いましたので、星四つです。

なんといっても字体が「教科書体」だから見やすいし、一般的な漢和辞典の「明朝体」と違い、どのように書いたらいいのかがわかり助かる。かつ、現代で使われている漢字を主に載せているから、超専門的な中国漢字や意味が書いてなくてよいです。一言でいえば、「辞典」というより「参考書」。高校や大学受験(漢文は除く)、漢検、日常生活まで使えると思います。

　50音順が引きにくい上に、JIS第1第2水準漢字すら出ていないものがある。
国字についても漢和辞典の中で最も信が置きがたい。特に典拠をつけて誤りを指摘したが、10年ほどたっても直す様子がない。
　漢検を受ける人以外には、百害あって一利なしといった辞典である。
