選挙で面白い人が出ていると著者に興味を持ったのがきっかけで読みました。選挙では面白い公約を掲げたり、独特のポスターを配ったりと、とにかく変わった方だなぁと思っていました。
ですが、この本を読んで、自分の基準をしっかり持っていて、それを伝えようとしている、とても真面目な方だなと思いました。残念ながら私とは必ずしも考えが一致するわけではありませんでしたが、氏はこういう信念のもとで世の中を変えようとしているのだな、っていうのが良く分かって面白いです。
本の構成としては、さまざまな社会上のテーマについて、ひたすら氏の見解を述べるという形です。
選挙でみたけど、なんなのこの人って言う方は読んでみると良いと思いますよ。

一見キチガイじみた選挙チラシで彼を知った。
政見放送を見て彼の政治への熱い思いを知った。
この本を読んで彼の政治精神に感服した。
ここまで細かく、小さな所から日本を改革しようとしている政治家はいないのではないかと思う程だった。
あのチラシも人の目を引き付ける効果を狙ってのものではないかと思い始めた。

意見が偏りすぎ、という意見があるが、一貫した意見を持たぬ政治家に日本を預ける気にはならない。
