本屋さんでこの本を見つけた時に、これはダメ犬奮闘記？とパラパラ眺めていましたが、人目があるにもかかわらずポロポロと涙が溢れてきてしまいました。
正直、犬を飼っている私にはつらい本です。
でも現実を受け入れるために、それよりも愛犬とのこれからの生活を大切にするためにも何度も読み返そうと思います。

かわいい絵や簡単な文章から想像も出来ないような感動を与えてくれたこの本を年齢を問わずたくさんの方に読んで欲しい。
愛する家族とグーの１１年＋１０８日の日々をひとかけらですが一緒に歩んでいった様な感覚が今までに無い１冊でした。

くすっと思わず笑ってしまう可愛らしいグー。
あ、分かる分かる~。うちのワンコもこうだもん。
なんて思いながら読み進めていくうちに・・・
いつのまにか涙が出ていました。
そして、ラストは涙がとまりませんでした。
電車の中でしたが、人目も気にせずに泣いてしまいました。

読み終わった後に、自分のワンコを抱きしめたら、不思議そうに泣いている私を見て、手をなめてくれたワンコを見て、またまた涙でした。

ずっとそばに置いておきたい本だけど、表紙を見るだけで涙ぐんでしまうので、大切にしまっておきます。

書いてる途中でまた涙が・・・

　本屋で何気に手にしてぱらぱらとめくっているうちに内容にくぎ付けになり、そして最後まで読んでしまった。
　最後の方は、本屋の中だというのに涙が止まらなくなった。
　これは単なるペットの話ではない、『命』の話だ。私は自分の親に重ね合わせて考えてしまい泣いてしまった。　

　こういった本こそ学校の教科書に載せれば、命を軽々しく考える子供達は減るような気がする。
