同類書を数冊ほど確認したのですが、手軽に携帯できるほど大部ではなく、価格も手ごろであり、基礎から実践まで自分自身でひとつひとつ段階を踏みながら自学自習するためのとっかかりとしては非常に良いと思います。本書を読んだあとは文章を読みたくなります。

校正記号の使い方に加え、校正作業や誤植になりやすい例などが解説されている。
単に校正記号を覚えて使えるようになれればいいという人には、
類書の『校正記号の使い方―タテ組・ヨコ組・欧文組』の方がコンパクトでお勧めだ。

本書『実例校正教室』は、校正記号を使えるところから一歩進んで、
優れた校正者になるための手ほどきをしてもらえるといった印象。
「校正する」ということについてしっかり学びたい人にお勧めの1冊である。

まずはこの一冊から始めてみることをお勧めします。
