自分の年収、生涯の伴侶の年収は、それは気になるだろう。

しかし、ここまで何のハジライもなく自分の年収はいくら以上、

夫の年収はいくら以上とよく言えたものだ。

私が古く、勝間さんが新しいのかもしれないが、

何の羞・恥・心も持たないところがスゴすぎる。

ところで、これがなぜ「インディペントな生き方」なのか

これもまた分からない。

　社会人経験が3〜4年以下の人向きだと思う。それ以上の人は、だいたいどこかで聞いたり見たりした考え方ばかりで、目新しくはない。しかも何か窮屈で、断定的な記述も気になる。（例：P189　「年とともに成長していくためには日々、昨日より今日、今日よりも明日の自分がよくないといけないのですが」　　P205「いい仕事と、いい男と、いい自分。実は、この三つはセットでないと、うまく動かないのです。」）また勉強時間の取り方など、この人の人生観には効率的なことしかないのか？と、美術系専門職の私などは辟易してしまう感がある。ものごとそうそう1たす1が2にはならないと思うのだけどね。漠然とした言い方ですが、この本を忠実にトレースしても、社会人生活に必要な根本的な筋力とか骨格とか、「自分をよく知り、自分の頭で考えて、自分のやり方を確立する」ことには結びつかないと思います。

　インディとウェンディという造語のセンスにひいた。特にウェンディ。
　内容は、ウェンディではなく、インディになりましょう。そのためには、女性なら年収６００万円必要ですよ、という本。英語の勉強の勧めなんかが書いてある。
　文字数的にも相当薄っぺらい本。このレビューを読んだ人は買う必要はないと思う。
　まだこの頃はそれほどでもないが、それでも著者の巧妙に織り込まれた自慢話に辟易した気持ちにさせられること請け合い。特に男性はこの本特有のダメージに注意。
