１日１ページの作り。日付の横に、ひとつのことについて、ほんの１〜３行ほどの言葉が書き込まれている。例えば、「今日の『季節らしさ』詩人の目になって探すんだ。もちろんきみなりのものでいい。正解の季節らしさは退屈だもの。」／「今日の『魔法が使えたら』自分のためか、家族か、日本か、世界か、人類か、宇宙か。・・。」／「今日の『鏡の中の自分』〜・・。」などなど365日分。短いのに自然に深く考えたり、はっとする「とっちゃまん」宮川先生の言葉が魅力。(わが家は母親と息子二人、それぞれ一冊ずつ購入。その日のテーマについて話し合った後で書いても、日記はそれぞれに。枠となる絵に色鉛筆で絵や色付して一日終了。）　　巻頭の『日記はきみの一年の文学作品だ。哲学ノートだ。』の通り、その日の視点のヒントに導かれて考えた、その日その時の自分が刻まれる。子どもが、大人になるまでずっと残しておける厚みのある日記帳。巻末には『完成した日記を送ってね。宮川先生が批評と感想・アドバイスを書いて送り返してくれるよ。』と送り先も載っている。

現在、教育関係で仕事をしてる者です。
最近、書店で発見したこの本、『これは使えそう』と感じ購入しました。
担当する小学生を見ていると、作文、感想文の課題が苦手、
という生徒が多いように感じます。
彼ら(彼女ら)に共通しているのは『何から書けばいいの？』ということ。
この本は『書くきっかけ』を与えてくれるもの。
子供が興味を持てるように様々な工夫がしてあります。
長年、国語教育、特に文章指導に力を入れてきた著者のエッセンスが詰まっています。
親子で楽しみながらできるといいですね。
継続は力なり。
日記を１年続けること。後に大きな価値を生み出すものだと思います。
（個人差はありますが小学生４年生〜中学１年生ぐらいが対象と思われます）

とても楽しくためになる日記帳です。小３、小５の子供達に冬休み初日から書かせてみたら、今まで長続きしなかった日記を大いに楽しみながら進んで書き始めました。毎日ひとつずつ提案されたテーマに沿った自分の考えや思いつき、気持ちを書くのですが、内容的には低学年には少し難しいものもあるので、小学校中学年以上にぴったり、という感じ。しかし、このコンセプトはとても良いので低学年向けや、続編などいろいろ出していってもらえたら嬉しいです♪まさに楽勉向けの素敵な日記に出会えて良かったです。
