マリア様が　うまやで　イエス様を　お産みになった　聖夜、動物たちが　かわいらしく描かれ　言葉（文章）も詩調で　余分なものはなく　格調高く　表現されています。幼い頃　繰り返し読み聞かせされ

この絵と　言葉が　心の中に　焼きつけられて　成長の折々に　枝付けされて　すばらしい　クリスマスに　なっていくのではないでしょうか？　　私の子供たちは　大きくなってしまったので　孫が出来たら
ぜひ　読んでやりたい　一冊です。

今年のクリスマス。
こどもへのプレゼントに買いました。
相手はわずか1歳のこどもですからこの本を楽しめるとは思いませんでしたが、
いつかこの本の美しさを感じれるときがくればと、そんな思いで・・・。
挿絵はモノクロなのに温かみを感じるもので、まずその美しさに魅かれました。
言葉も絵と同様、詩的でむだがなく静かな響きのなかにも力強さとリズムがあります。
キリストの誕生を描いているのでしょうが、私にはこどもが生まれる
その喜びと感動を描いているように感じられました。
この世に生を受けた一人ひとりがかけがいのない存在である。
そんな思いが胸に響く、聖なる夜におすすめの一冊です。

渋くて力強くて、この絵が最高にいいですね。
クリスマスがなぜ始まったのか知らない親も多いですが、せめて子供さんには正しいことを教えてあげてほしいですね。大人になってクリスマスの馬鹿騒ぎをやらかすような人間にならないように。
