著者が光の使者として、旅をした話。というとガイド本のようですが、ある意味心のガイド本と言えます。いろんなところで戦争がおこり、たくさんの人が苦しんでいる。しかし、日本に住んでいる私たちができることとは？

私のこのもどかしい、何をしてよいかわからない気分の時、この本に出会い、ただ祈るということの素晴らしさを、宗教に関係なく教えてくれた１冊でした。まさに心の時代といわれる現代のガイド本だとおもいます。

この本の内容は、あまりにも起こり得ないような経験をつづっているため、はじめは作り話だと思いました。でも、実際に著者のジェイムスの平和コンサートに参加し、話を聞いて、このお話は実際のものであると確信しました。人生の生き方を考えさせられる、貴重な一冊です。

恐ろしく深い闇の中の、信じられないほど美しい光。

光は、その眩しさゆえに、闇からは見えない。。

人が、すべての恐怖を手放したとき、奇跡は起こる。

そこには、もう光しかない。

争いではなく、和解を、恐怖ではなく愛を、戦争ではなく、平和を・・

その選択は、私たち一人ひとりの手にかかっている。


極限状態の中に導かれ、光のバトンを手渡された著者が体験した、奇跡のノンフィクション。

彼の勇気と愛に、心からの敬意を贈りたい。
