ベルギーといえば高級チョコレート。あとは・・・全く知らない！！
そんな私に「へぇ~、ベルギーってこんな国だったんだぁ」とわからせてくれた一冊でした。
筆者さんにとって初めての海外生活で、しかも公用語はフランス語！

最初は「ボンジュール」くらいしか話せなかったのに、終わりの方では無礼な店員相手にフランス語で堂々と渡り合う程に上達していて天晴れでした！！

とても読みやすい文章で、時々クスッと笑いながら最後まで一気に読んでしまいました。そして無性にワッフルが食べたくなる！

まだまだ沢山の楽しいエピソードがありそうなので、隠さずに是非続編で紹介して欲しいです。

言葉の通じない国へ、小さい子供を連れての転居の苦労は大きなものだったはずなのに、その苦労にめげず、すごく前向きに（時に泣いたり怒ったりしつつも）現地の生活を楽しむ様子を楽しく読ませて頂きました。文章もわかりやすくて読みやすい本です。続編で他のエピソードも読みたいと思いました♪

うらやましい！　ただ単にうらやましい。
ベルギーって良い所なんだろうなぁという想像を、確信に変えられてしまった。うらやましくてくやしい本だったな。
