大切な人を亡くした時、納骨するのをとてもためらいます。
私も納骨した後でもずっとそれを後悔していました。

でも亡くなった人の魂はお墓にあるのではなく
いつも私たちの周りにあるのだと思える本です。

作者がわからないと言う点も、実際に死者からのメッセージ
なのかもしれないと本気で思えるポイントなのかもしれません。

星を眺めながら、その星をあの人の笑顔だと信じられそうです。

私は２７歳の時、２６歳の夫であり恋人であり親友であり、１番の味方であった彼を亡くしました。
今年で１０年目になりますが、その間どんなにか泣いて、悲しんで、苦しんだか知れません。
私をたった一人残して逝ってしまった彼に、どれだけ問いかけても、一度も返事はありませんでした。

この本に出会った時、初めて彼が答えてくれた気がしました。彼を感じる事が出来た気がしました。
また彼に出会う日まで、私に生きる事を教えてくれた本です・・・

　死はいつも突然おとずれる。
　大切な人を亡くしたとき、人はどのようにしてその傷を癒すのでしょう？

　Do not stand at my grave and weep,
　（私のお墓の前で泣かないでください。）
　I am not there, I do not sleep.
　（私はそこにいません。眠ってなんかいません。）
　I am a thousand winds that blow;
　（私は１０００の風になって吹きぬけていきます。）

　オリジナルは作者不詳の英詩「A THOUSAND WINDS」
　それが「１０００の風」として日本語に翻訳され、写真とともに一冊の本にまとめられています。

「肉体は滅んでも、私は風となって生きています」

　残された者が纏う悲しみの鎖を、ふとゆるめてくれる優しいメッセージがここにありました。大切な人を亡くした方、優しい気持ちになりたい方にはぜひオススメの一冊です。
