といったところが注目の新機能です。
特に、医療系、3Dデザイン、建築系に携わるユーザーにとっては、3Dモデルのレンダリング、マッピングの編集機能をPhotoshop上で使用できることは、有益なことでしょう。
また、色調補正パネルでは、ダイアログボックスを出すことなく、色調補正レイヤーで何度でも写真の補正を行えるので、とても便利です。
本書は、このような新機能を踏まえつつ、画像のレタッチ・合成・デザインの例をふんだんに使いながらPhotoshop CS4の機能をくまなく解説しています。
Photoshop自体は非常にポピュラーなアプリケーションですが、画像処理自体は難解な理論を含んでおり、それらについてもできるだけわかりやすく記述することを試みています。
また、初心者の方にはできるだけわかりやすいように記述しつつ、かつ、上級者の方がわからないコマンドや操作、項目を辞書代わりに引くことができるよう構成しています。
本書で使用している画像は、ダウンロードして実際にやりながら覚えてみましょう。

写真の大きさがちょうど良く、色の使い方も綺麗で
非常に読みやすい本に仕上がっています。
残念なのはサンプルが少なかった点。

本書ははじめてPhotoshopを触る人が
一通りの機能を覚えるための本だと思うので
サンプルの量はあまり関係ないのかもしれませんが。

デザインが綺麗な本は読みやすいですね。
これは本当に良い点です。

いままでのphotoshopを使ったことがない人には特にいいのではないでしょうか。
デザインの手法などは記載されていませんが、基本操作をマスターするには十分です。

この本を読みながら色々な効果を試していって一通りの操作はできるようになりました。
逆引き的な使い方よりも通しで読むのがいいと思います。
