国連職員50人分の簡単な履歴書を集めたような本です。
残念ながら仕事の内容に関する詳細記述はなく、本気で仕事内容を知りたいと考える読者にとっては物足りないものでしょう。

この本は実際にさまざまな国連機関で働かれている方々の、現在の仕事、それまでの流れを具体的に書いてある本です。
50名の方々のお話が満載なので、国際機関の実情を知るにはとてもいい本だと思います。
国際機関を目指される方はもちろん、国連職員の現状を知りたい方にはオススメしたい一冊です。

国連職員の声をまとめたインタビューは数あれど、
ここまで丁寧に記述された本はめずらしい。

キャリアの来歴や現場での体験がコンパクトにおさまっている名著。
UENSCOトップの松浦事務局長を含め、
国連本部、UNDP、UNHCRはもちろん、ITUや国連ハビタット、
UNOPS（国連プロジェクト・サービス機関）まで50名を紹介。

各国連機関の人事担当マネージャーの声もあり、
国連へのキャリアパスを考えている人にとっては、
非常に役に立ちます。
