日頃英語でメールをする人はちょっとした言い回しをどう表現していいか悩むことが多い。例えば日本語で「ご無沙汰してます」のニュアンスをどう書くのか。あるいは締めくくりの語はどうするか。この本はアメリカとイギリス人の女性で日本語のニュアンスもよく理解する２人の手になり、日頃上記の問題に悩む人必読の本である。但し題名を『英語で文通しませんか？』としたのは疑問が残る。『英語でメールしませんか？』とはっきりしたほうが本来の読者に親切であろう。

文通相手の見つけ方から文章作成のコツまで、より良い文通生活を進めていく上で必要なノウハウがまとめられています。

単なる英作文の教材という位置づけではありません。
海外文通を考えておられえる方にとっては、本書はお勧めです。

英文Eメールを始めたての頃に大活躍してくれました。　内容は、初期の頃に必要な「自己紹介」や「相手のことを訊く」こと等が主なので、英文Eメール初心者向きだと思います。
