狗飼さんの作品では、これがダントツで気に入っています。文章が持つリズムと、全体が醸し出す空気…、それがこの南国再見では見事にはまっていました。独特な文章で書かれた狗飼さんの世界が、この作品でハッキリと表現されています。「人は二度死ぬ」…儚さと切なさの中にある希望を拾いたい…そんな人にお勧めかと。

　恋人を亡くした女の子が、彼の匂いや彼の見たりしたことを探すための南国に行く話で、たった１日の流れが淡々と書かれているだけなのに、文章が持つリズム、ときどき挿まれる写真、１２０ページで文章自体も短いため、退屈どころか、小説の文章を引用すれば「しんしんしんしんしみてくる。」

　最後は、gansakiさんの言うように「儚さと切なさの中にある希望を拾いたい…そんな人にお勧めかと。」です。
　私は、優しくて繊細なハッピーエンドに、感動しました。
