ハムスターを飼い始めて最初に買った本ですが、今でも重宝している1冊です。
ハムスターを飼う上で勉強になる素晴らしい1冊です。

基本的な飼育から病気までかかれている本は結構ありますが内容不足であったり、写真ばっかりで内容の薄い本が多い中この本では、文章でわかり辛い部分に必要なイラスト、写真が入っています。ハムスターの野生での暮らしなど最初のページは子供から大人まで楽しく読めちゃいます。体の仕組みも一つ一つ丁寧に解かりやすく解説されており、内臓・骨格・耳の仕組みまでわかっちゃうのです。
ハムスターが怖がってるときどんな行動をするのか？、嫌がる事、しぐさなどを可愛いイラストで描かれています。フン飛ばしの理由、回し車で突然止まる理由、知っていますか？ハムスター倶楽部の本なので４コマももちろんついています♪

監修が霍野 晋吉先生のものは、今までハズレはありませんでした。
