　楽しい工作が満載の"Make:"の第2巻がでた。

　前巻に比べてハードルがあがった気がする。表示に「生物をハックする」と書いてあるくらいだから。

　でも、ふつうの工作の方が数多く掲載されているので大丈夫。さらに今回は、ちょっぴり危ない感じの工作がでているので、少年心をよみがえらせた大人達にはもってこいかもしれない。危ないといっても、指先をやけどする程度だろうけれども。

　1巻と2巻を一気に読んで、いてもたってもいられなくなってきた。ゴールデンウィーク・夏休みに友達とわいわい実験できるように準備を始めようとするかな。

　「Makerのための究極ツール」という特集がとても心惹かれます。今はものすごく高い機械だけれども、それらを使ったら本当に何でも作れそうな機械達の紹介です。

ものづくりの醍醐味は大儲けをたくらんだりすることではなく、ものをつくることそのものにある。ここで紹介する本はその醍醐味というか興奮というか狂喜というかを教えてくれる。とくにセグウェイの発明者へのインタビュー記事には共感を覚える。
