幼なじみの二人の少年期から青年期までの移り変わりと、
すれ違う想いを描いたあまりにも切ない話。
澄は顔立ちが綺麗な圦也の幼なじみ。
幼少時代の澄はかなり意地が悪く平気で嘘をつくような人間。
十七の夏、興味本位で圦也と寝た澄は、その後の自分の性癖と人生を決定付けられる。

成長するにつれて孤独になって行く澄を、激しく憎みながらもひたむきに愛して行くのが圦也だ。
彼だけは最後まで澄を見棄てなかった。
澄にどんなに裏切られても、どんなに傷つけられても。

幾度となく別れと再会を繰り返す二人。
過酷な経緯を辿る二人の運命が、ラストにむけてより一層甘美な時へと変貌を遂げる。
年齢を重ねた澄は昔のように綺麗な少年ではないけれど、
昔と変わらないひたむきな圦也の愛は、眩暈がするほど美しく光り輝いていて、
涙なくしては読めない秀作。
