著者の一人である、松村秀一教授は、「宇宙建築研究会」というものを運営しており、宇宙建築技術の”住”への応用へ取り組んでおられる。宇宙船や宇宙ステーションの、エネルギー、水、酸素などの供給といった自立性（インフラフリー）を、地球上の住宅に応用することを目標としているようだ。その宇宙建築研究会におけるキーパーソンが、著者の研究室の助教であるアニリール・セルカン氏である。アニリール・セルカン氏は、氏の著書によると、ＡＴＡ宇宙エレベータのプロジェクトリーダーとされ、またＪＡＸＡやＮＡＳＡでの研究実績もあるとされ、著者の松村教授の「宇宙建築の夢」の架け橋のような存在だ。その一番弟子のアニリール・セルカン氏は、2006年度より、科学研究費補助金を受給し、著者の松村秀一教授の指導の元「宇宙技術を活用した住宅建設におけるインフラフリー施設の構築に関する研究　http://kaken.nii.ac.jp/ja/p/18760453/2006/3/ja」を行っておられたようで、その実績について期待は深まるばかりである。また、アニリール・セルカン氏は、松村秀一教授の元「宇宙空間で長期居住を可能にする軌道上施設に関する研究」という題名の博士論文を書き上げ、話題を呼んでいる。

しかしながら、それらの期待を裏切るかのように、本著書においては以下のような問題が浮上している。

まず、本著書の宇宙建築構想年表（page.143-147)において、2006年 ★「インフラフリー建築」考案[No.05]として、Mercury House II の建築物画像が盗用掲載されている（画像番号１０６）。さらに、この宇宙建築構想年表ページの下部に記載の"図版出典の説明欄"に、(c) Serkan ANILIRとあり、著作権Ｃマークまで付けてあり、極めて悪質である。

同様に、宇宙建築構想史のNo.5として、アニリール・セルカン氏のインフラフリー建築が紹介されているが、Mercury House IIの建築物画像がインフラフリー建築として盗用掲載されている。さらに、図版出典の説明欄には、「図版出典 No.05 筆者提供」とあり、これも同様に悪質である。

驚くべきことに、本著書には、盗用の被害者である、Architecture+Vision (Arturo Vittori and Andreas Vogler )　のお二人の論考記事が、p120-123　に、「宇宙居住のスピンオフ」という題で掲載されている。そして、アニリール・セルカン氏の論考は、その直前の、p117-119に掲載されている。
盗用被害者のお二人の論考記事を本著書に載せつつ、同著書において大胆不敵にお二人の画像を盗用掲載するという編集のお茶目さには驚かされる。海外から投稿したArchitecture+Visionのお二人は本著書の詳細まで確認せず盗用行為には気づかないだろうと想定したうえでの不正行為であろうか。同著書に名を連ねる自称宇宙建築家の方々は気がつかなかったのだろうか？

これからの、「宇宙建築研究会」の行く末には期待させられるが、以上のような盗用掲載問題を考慮し、星一つとさせて頂いた。

宇宙建築についてたくさんの専門家が見解を述べています。現時点での世界中の宇宙建築構想が、実際の建築設計予定図などとともに具体的に記載されています。
また、難しい建築用語などについては、脚注も付いています。

写真は主に白黒ですが、いろいろと眺めているだけでも面白く、建築以外にも現在の産業を支えているさまざまなメディアなどに関する記述も充実しています。


この手の本で、この内容・値段はかなりお手ごろだと思います。
デザインや建築、新しいもの好きな人にお勧めです☆
