1年2ヶ月ぶりの新刊です。
カズキヨネさんの美しいイラストが目立っています。

久しぶりの新刊ということもあって、前編を読み直しておこうかとも思いましたが、
簡単なあらすじと本編の中でも人物説明があったので、
その必要はありませんでした。
舞台は学校から華鬼の生家に移ります。
あいかわらずのシリアス展開ではありますが、
場所によっては結構あまあまですので、思わずニヤニヤしてしまいました（笑）。
「鬼」という独特な設定のためが、各キャラの背景説明がやや多めで、
ちょっとくどい感じもしましたが、
謎がそれなりに解けたのでマイナス要素にはならないかと。

期間限定特典の番外編「華の追憶」がネットから読めます。
前編にも初版限定の番外編小説がありましたが、
今回は「期間限定」（2009年1月9日まで）ですので、
無理して初版本探す必要はないと思います。

全3巻予定だった華鬼ですが、なぜが全4巻に変更になりました。
このペースだと完結は2010年（汗）。
気長に待ちましょう。

頑なに自身の成長を止めていた神無が、
ようやく16歳の女の子として成長を始めたところで3巻に続きます。
その威力たるや･･･さすが鬼頭の刻印を持つ花嫁･･･。
ヒロインだけが普通の容姿で、周りは男も女もみな見蕩れる程の容姿端麗って
あまりない設定だな･･･と思っていましたが、そんな訳ありませんでした。
それがこの2巻でよ〜く分ります。

能力もその容姿も羨望される程の三翼が、あの冷徹な鬼頭・華鬼ですら、
誰も彼もが我知らず、神無に惹かれ、引き寄せられ、放っておけなくなる。
･･･確かに、同性には理由も無く嫌われる筈です。

しかもこの巻では、思わせぶりなドキドキが満載！
美麗なイラストも手伝って、視覚的にもドキリ！で、
一気に楽しくなってきましたよ〜！

第2巻では、主人公を拒否し続けていた華鬼（かき）と、華鬼に戸惑い続けていた主人公がラストにかけてお互い徐々に心を開いてきた…の…か…？という感じです。
ついにきました。
それまで読者は焦らされてきたので（私だけ？）、なんだかニヤニヤしてしまいました。
もう、続きが楽しみで仕方ありません！

ネット小説では荒さも目立ちましたが、丁寧に加筆されていて、人物や世界観などより深く描かれているという印象を受けました。カズキヨネさんの挿絵ともマッチしているし、主人公や華鬼以外の登場人物もみんな魅力的です。
今月には待望の第3巻が発売されるので、すごく楽しみです！
