つぼやビンの中というのは、魔物が潜むのに好都合なのだろうか。
昔話では魔人や化け物が、よくとじこめられていたりしますが、
本書で活躍するブラッキンはかなりクセの強いやつです。

潜んでいるのは机の上の黒いインクビンの中。
主人の寝ている間に、ビンのふたを開けて登場したかとおもうと、
机の上を歩き回って芸術的な？痕跡を残していく。
そればかりか、出来立ての船の模型を乗っ取り、勝手に家の外へ
飛び出してしまうのです。旅に同行するのは鉢植えサボテンのキンダーちゃん。
二人あわせて、タイトルのブラッキンダーというわけです。

空飛ぶ船での航海は、かなりぶっとんだもので、スズキコージさんで
なければ描けないような、とんでもない出来事が当たり前のように
繰り広げられます。最後はきちんと家にもどってくるので、ひと安心。

最近家の中にこもりがちな方、非日常的な気分を味わいたい方に
おすすめ。

美しく楽しい絵本です。
本の見返しから、もう夜の世界が広がっている。
写真やロシア語（スズキさん、よく使いますよね）の新聞（かな？）、雑誌（かな？）の
コラージュも満載で、それらが背景の、アクセントとなりあるいは濃淡の決め手となり、
ページのどこを何度見ても、また新しい発見がある。

スズキコージさんの絵はいつも色があふれかえっているけれど、
この本はこれまでよりビビッドな色づかいに見惚れてしまう。
夜の冒険。これはもう、子どもなら、怖いもの見たさ半分で、
誰しもが一度は憧れたはずのキーワード。
インクびんからブラッキン。鉢植えからサボテンのキンダー。
ひょっこり出てきた絶妙なコンビが、おもちゃの舟で空へ海へ砂漠へ。
縦横無尽、自由奔放に夜を駆け、遊ぶ。
スリルだって、あるある。冒険の醍醐味はなんといってもドキドキなのだ。
けれども、ここに描かれた夜は、追い詰めたり排除したりする怖さはない。
闇はどこかに飛び退り、ブラッキンダーたちの思いのまま、
どこまでも世界は広がりをみせてくれる。

最後がいい。
そう、まるで夢のはなしだったかのような結びかたに、もう一度わくわくしてしまう。
