なにげに買った本ですが、もう最初のページから引き込まれてしまいました。
そして主人公の１ファンになった自分を見つけてしまいます。
フットボール(サッカーではありませんｗ)ファンも
そうでない人も、読んでみてください。

4.0 out of 5 stars イングランドフットボールファンにおすすめの極上エンターテイメント, 2007/3/5
読んでいる間、起伏に富んだストーリー展開にハラハラしっぱなしになること請け合いです。そのあたりがちょっと作りすぎな感じもしますが、この作品は３部作の最初の作品として、エンターテイメント作品として作られているのですからそれもまた良し、といったところでしょう。読者を飽きさせずにこの第１部のストーリーに引き込む手法として、さらに、あらかじめ映像化することを前提として作られている感じになっています。イングランドのフットボールが好きな方はぜひ「シーズンチケット(ジョナサン・タロック著)」も読んでいただきたいと思います。さて....この作品も「シーズンチケット」もニューカッスル・ユナイテッドFCが大きな存在として登場するわけですが....もしもこれがマンチェスター・ユナイテッドFCやチェルシーFCであったならフェイク感が強すぎていくらイングランドフットボールが好きな方でもうんざりしてしまったかもしれません。ところがニューカッスル・ユナイテッドFCですとストーリーに妙な渋みとリアル感が出るのです。いろいろな意味で古きよきイングランドフットボールの薫りを今の時代に残すニューカッスル・ユナイテッドFCの存在をうまく利用していると感じます。作品のストーリーだけではなく、そうしたイングランドフットボールの世界に思いを馳せて....一粒で二度おいしく楽しんで読んでほしい作品です。
