文章を書くのは、頭に浮かんだ文字だけではだめでしょう。
例えば、「言う」の一言だけで、小説は書けません。
文末だとか、文中だとかに、「言った」「言う」「言ったらしい」などでは面白い
文章にはならないのです。

その点、この辞典は、自分の表現したい代表的な言葉から索引がついており、
また、例文も各語毎に理解しやすいように付いています。

前例ならば、
「合いの手を入れる」
「得も言われぬ」
「開口一番」
「口が滑る」
「口がほぐれる」
「声を揃える」
などなど、慣用語が豊富です。
もちろん、慣用句からの逆引きもついていますので、「どんな意味だったかな」
と疑問を浮かべた時には、意味も調べれます。
小説や物語を書く人に、お勧めの一冊です。

　僕は大学生で小説を書くために買いました。結論からいうと、役に立ちます。主に３つお勧めする理由があります。
　第一に、努力、平和など、抽象語から検索できること。第二に、どのような場面で使われるのか面白おかしく書いてある。第三に、類書と比べて情報が多いということです。

　中学生をもつ親の人に子の本を推薦するのは、次の理由です。つまり、中学生はたいてい慣用句といってもただ暗記するだけで、慣用句の面白さを理解していません。しかし、この本は面白く書いてあります。たとえば、「不徳のいたすところ」という慣用句があります。この辞書では、具体例としてこんなのをつかってます。

「息子が麻薬不法所持で逮捕されたのは、わたしの不徳のいたすところで、みなさんに深くお詫びいたします」のように使われる。心からではなく、おざなりな謝罪のときに良く使われる。・・・　というように、どのような場面で使われるかが詳細に書いてあり、腹を抱えるところもあります。

中学受験用にいろいろ辞典を探していたのですが
ここまで使い易いものはありませんでした。
もちろん、大人が使うのにもちょうど良くて
これ以外にない！という感じです。

てすぐに購入した。つかい方もそれほど難しくないし便利。
