うちの子は二歳で、絵本に興味をもち始めたばかりです。
簡単でわかりやすい本をえらんでいるのですが、中でも子供はこの本を気に入ったようです。
うちは近くにおばあちゃんが住んでいて、子供はよく「おばあちゃんのうちに行きたい」とせがみます。

そんな気持ちがそのまま絵本になったもので、急におばあちゃんに会いたくなった子がひとりで出掛けていく。
同じ時、おばあちゃんも急にその子に会いたくなって出掛けていく。
やっと会えて良かった~という最後は、うちの子も一緒にニッコリしています。

小児科で時間つぶしに読み始めたのですが、とても気に入って購入してしまいました。
はなしはとても単純ですが、次はどうなるのという期待で次々とページが進んでいきました。最後のやっと会えたねでは、我が子も「よかったね｝というほど。
子どもだけでなく大人まで、ほんわかした気持ちになれる一冊です。

5.0 out of 5 stars おばあちゃんも大好きな本です, 2006/3/17
我が家は、おばあちゃんの家とは少し離れた町にあります。
たまに遊びに来てくれるおばあちゃん、時々遊びに行く息子ですが、
おばあちゃんのことが大好きな息子の気持ちを、
随分とくすぐる本のようです。
また、おばあちゃんは絵本に詳しく、
「五味さんの絵は色に黒っぽいものが混ざっているから〜」
と言っていましたが、これは内容の良さと単純な面白さから、
（というより、おばあちゃん心もくすぐるようです♪）
気に入ってくれています。
会いたくて会いたくて、でもなかなか会えない、
おばあちゃんと○○（子どもの名前にします）。
おばあちゃんが本を読んでくれるときには、
最後で、二人が会える場面になると、
ぎゅ〜と息子を抱きしめてくれます。
それを見ている私まで、温かくなる本です
