４０分という短い時間の中での、非常に洗練され演出された監督の傑作「ぼくらのウォーゲーム！」では特に、数々の緻密な演出がなされています。

私が特に好きだったオープニングやディアボロモンとの戦闘シーンにみられる、映像と音楽が一体となったシーンでは、細かく計算されてコンテが切られていることが解り、とても驚きました。

カット内のキャラや背景、レイアウト、カットまわしについても、それぞれに非常に奥深い意味を持ったものも多く、アニメファンの方なら楽しめるのではないでしょうか。
欠番になったカットも、無くなった理由を色々考えてみるとなかなか面白いです。



ここ最近では数少ない芸術的にも非常に素晴らしい作品の絵コンテです。

山下高明さんや濱洲英喜さんなどの一流アニメーターの人達の頑張りやこだわりも熱く伝わってきますので、ＤＶＤと共にみることをおすすめします。

劇場版2作品とTVシリーズ21話の絵コンテが掲載されています。
劇場版に関してはデジモンムービーブックの方に演出の意図が詳しく載っており
少し物足りない気がしました。
しかしウォーゲーム！の音楽に合わせた演出はどうやって作られたのか
興味があったので
その過程が見られるのは面白いです。

細田氏自身による21話のレイアウトも何点か載っています。
細田氏の「絵柄」がよくわかる絵を見る機会がなかったのですが
太一とヒカリの表情がとても豊かで驚きました。

デジモンアドベンチャー、細田監督が手がけた絵コンテ本です。
ページ数は多く、厚さは３〜４cmくらいあります。

表紙が『ぼくらのウォーゲーム』ということもあり、絵コンテもウォーゲームだけかな？と思っていたら、細田監督が手がけたもう一つの映画『デジモンアドベンチャー』とアニメ本編21話の絵コンテも収録されていました。

内容はそれら３作の絵コンテと細田監督のインタビュー、そして細田監督の描いたラフレイアウトが数点です。
絵コンテが大半ということもあり絵コンテがどんなものか知りたい人、絵コンテを見るのが好きな人には本当にもってこいのものでしょう。

ですが、本当に絵コンテのみと考えていい内容なので、ラフや原画を目的とする方はあまりオススメできません。
星４つなのはその点でですが、タイトルに「絵コンテ」と書かれているのでそういう見方をすれば間違いなく星５です。
