小学校３年生になる娘のために、今だからできる性教育の本を探しましたが、この類の本は図書館や書店にはなく、特集記事に紹介されていたものをそのまま購入しました。感想としては、性交、受精から妊娠、出産についてかなり立ち入った内容でありながら、子供達がおおらかにほがらかに話し合う形式をとっており、どうしてもひるみがちな親がこういう話題を進めるのを助けてくれます。ですが、全体として”そのもの”の話題と描写が多く（図柄が中性的でユーモラスであり、それほどにはいやらしさを感じませんが）、もう少し男女間、親子間の愛情をふんわりと感じさせてくれる描写があってもよいかもしれません。愛情あってのセックスということが、一番大切なメッセージと思いますので。
