　2009年1月に急逝したSABEさんの最近の短編と絶筆のイラストと旧作の拾遺集を収録した短編集。

　地獄組の女と並ぶワニマガジン時代の代表作、阿佐ヶ谷腐れ酢学園のキャラクターの原型が多く登場する94-97年の連作四コマ「BEAUTHIFUL MONEY」は、前回の単行本の未収録分も掲載されており、初めて触れて、端正でブラックでシュールで投げやりな氏の才能に驚いた作品だけに感慨深かった。

　なんといってもここ20年で最も感情を揺り動かされた最終回であった「ゆらさん日記」が収録されており必見。
　本単行本では省略されていたが、連載時には枠に編集部が記載した「本当に洒落にならない位可哀想なSABEさんに励ましのお手紙を出そう。」という追い討ちの一文が衝撃的だった。

　これだけの事を面白い漫画作品として描ける方が亡くなったのは実に残念だが、湿っぽい話がまったく似合わない作品集なので時々読み返してはくすり笑おう。

惜しくも急逝してしまった著者の最後の作品となる追悼本。
過去作であるビューティフルマネーを丸々と、未収録であった「ゆらさん日記」
その他読みきり作品などを収録。
大変読み応えがある一冊となっています。
何故にこんなに笑える作品を遺しながら逝ってしまったのか惜しまれる。
紙質もそこそこよろしいので、愛蔵用に1冊買ってあげてください。

『地獄組の女』で出会って以降、SABE氏の画力と変態性にハマりました。
シュールでエロでフェチで、残酷で生々しくて、侘しくて繊細で、おどけた哀愁。ツッコミ無用の独壇場ではじけるカオス。
愛があって虚無がある、そういった愚直さが渾然一体となった漫画家、それがSABE氏。

彼の描く女の子はカワイイ。そして無常。
好き嫌いはあるだろうが、興味があればぜひ読んで欲しい。
そしてもう、二度と彼の漫画を新たに読む事は叶わない。

ありがとう、SABEちん。
あなたの漫画は最高にくだらなくて、笑えて、そして面白い。
