小明さんのブログを以前から見ており、彼女がたまにブログで
紹介する書籍や音楽を読んだり聞いたりして自分もハマるなど、個人的に
影響を受けていたので、今回の、初の書籍を楽しみにしていました。
この書籍は、ブログの文章や写真をまとめてそのまま掲載するといった、
いわゆるタレントのブログ本にありがちな形態をとっておらず、
最初の生い立ち部分を除くとメインはほぼ文章のみです。
このように書くと地味に思えるかもしれませんが、文章は非常に面白く、
文才を感じさせます。
ただ、全体的に密度が濃く、読み終えるとグッタリするかもしれないので、
個人的には分けて読むことを勧めます。
この１冊で終わるのは勿体無い。他のコラム、もしくは書いた文章が書籍化
されるのを待っています。星５つ。

リアルな分、下手な小説よりよっぽど面白いです。
笑えて泣けて考えさせられて・・・最後は小明ちゃんガンバレ！て気持ちでいっぱい。

「お洒落な人脈と充実した日常」しか出てこないブログとか、
自分の話（自慢とか）しかしない人とか要領の良さそうな人に、
どこか胡散臭さを感じたりコンプレックスがある人、
このエッセイはストライクと思いますよ。

ブログ「小明の秘話」の愛読者であればあるほど、内容の重複が気になるところですが、現在アーカイブで読めるものはすべて目を通したつもりの私が読んでも、充分楽しめるものでした。台湾留学の真相が判ったりして、むしろブログのコアなファン程、興味深く読めると思います。
