高山さんのお料理本やエッセイが好きで、以前からファンでした。
このDVDでは以前に出演されたテレビ番組の他に、
いつも通われているお店でのお買い物や、ご自宅でお料理をされている様子がたくさん収録されています。
レシピは高山さんらしいお馴染みのものが多いのですが
作っている途中の食材や、お料理を必ず少し手で摘んで、食べて味を確かめていらっしゃいます。
にんじん、ごぼう、生のゴーヤ、ホタテ、お酒で煎った牡蠣…新鮮なものばかりで
それが本当に美味しそうなのです。
可愛らしく小さな声で「おいし〜い」と仰る高山さん。
夜中に観ていてお腹が空いて困りました。
高山さんのレシピはシンプルで作りやすいので、ほとんど失敗をしたことがありません。
（ナンプラー・ごま油・黒コショウ・梅干の種があれば大丈夫…？）
清潔なキッチンで実際に調理をしていらっしゃるのを見ますと
食べること、お料理をすることを本当に楽しまれているのだなぁと思いました。

ＮＨＫ“きょうの料理”に高山さんが出演した番組をまとめたものです。
番組の録画をしたのですが、残念ながら、ビデオでの録画だったので、
もし、ＤＶＤが発売されたら買おう！と思ってたんです。

スタジオで収録されたものもありますが、多くは高山さんのご自宅で収録したもので
台所の雰囲気とか、使っている調味料とか道具など、
ファンだったら、必見ではないでしょうか。
普段の高山さんを知ることができるのがうれしいですよね。

レシピ自体はたぶん、すでに出版している本にも載っているんじゃないかとは
思いますが、ＤＶＤで作り方が観れるのがいいですよね。
ＤＶＤだけでなく、小さなレシピ本がついているので、
ＤＶＤで予習したり、作りたいものに目星をつけて、レシピ本を持ってお買い物できますよ。
私は実際にお買い物に持って行きましたけど、レシピ本がシステム手帳くらい大きさで
小さく薄いので、バックにいれててもじゃまになりませんでした。

いくつか作りましたが、クレソンのポテトサラダ、ごぼうとひじきのきんぴら、
きんぴらチャーハンあたりは簡単でおいしくてお気に入りです。

そして今はアイスボックスクッキーを作っている最中です。
ジンジャー（粉末）をいれて焼くんですけど、どんな味なのか楽しみ。

ＤＶＤ２枚だし、これくらいの値段なのは仕方ないかな、とは思いますが、
すでに放送済みの映像が大半なので、もうちょっと安いといいなーってところで星４つ。

やっぱり高山さんの手際の良い流れるような調理動作や包丁さばきは素晴らしい。
高山さんのお料理の本も素晴らしいけど、動く高山さんを見てから作ると何故か同じレシピのお料理でもスムーズに楽しく美味しく作れる。
なんだか疲れていて、お料理するのが面倒な時もこれを見るとお料理がしたくなる。
不思議なんですが、映像から匂い立ってくるパワーを貰えるというか…
単純に猿真似効果があるのでしょうか。
やはり高山さんがご自宅の使い慣れたキッチンで、楽しそうにお料理してる姿が人に影響を与えるんでしょうかね。
そんなわけでこのＤＶＤの内容は既に見たものだし作ったものですが、とても重宝しています。
それから、放送されてない特典部分丹治さんとの対談で思わぬ裏話も聞く事が出来てよかったです。
現在はきょうの料理をお休みしてらっしゃるので、余計にやっぱり高山さんはテレビに出てお料理すべき！！って思ってしまう。
来年からきょうの料理を再開されるらしいのでとっても楽しみです。その時はまたＤＶＤ化して欲しいです。
