子供にもフランス語を学ばせたいと思い、「フランスの子供たちはアラン　グレの絵本でフランス語を勉強していた」という商品紹介を読んで、値段がちょっと高いなとは思ったが購入しました。実際に本を見たら、文字の大きさがとても小さくうちの子供が読めるようになるのは何年先かって感じです。それもそのはず本の裏表紙には、「この本は幼児教育を目的とした本ではありません」としっかり明記されていました。ただ見て楽しむとかインテリアの一部として購入するのには確かに絵はレトロでかわいいし色使いもきれいですが、子供の教育用には向きません。それを商品紹介にも載せて欲しかった。

表紙のカワイさに惹かれて買いました。
まず思ったより大きいサイズがうれしかったです。
そして思ったとおりの絵のかわいさ！！！どのページをめくってもカワイイ♪♪♪
毎日いろいろなページを眺めては癒されてます。内容もたっぷりですね。
作者のインタビューや写真もついていて、なんかフランスな感じを感じられます。
訳には漢字も入っているから、小学生以下には一人じゃ難しいかも。ふりがなはついていますけどね。
こんなにきれいな色使いの絵本ははっきりいって初めてで感動しました！

まず、イラストや色づかいがめちゃくちゃかわいい♪

一般的な、フランス語の教材くらいの大きさでソフトカバーのものを想像してたんだけど、これが大きい！Ａ４よりもちょっと大きいくらいかな？そして、しっかりしたハードカバー、なんていうんだっけ・・・つるつるの表紙の上に、紙のカバーがかかってるやつ。

A から Z のことば・・・というサブタイトルから簡単なことばの ABC 絵本だと思ってたんだけど、これが期待以上の内容でした♪♪♪

１見開きにひとつずつ、A, B, C... と Z まですすみます。主人公のピルーと彼の小さなともだち、きつねのカプシーヌがぼうけんしていきます。ひとつの見開きには、数コマの、ひとつのアルファベをつかったことば（もののなまえ）とイラスト。そして、そのアルファベが頭文字のことばがいっぱいはいったみじかい文（といってもあまりストーリーはないんだけど）で、そのアルファベだけ太字で書かれています。そのすぐ下には、青い字で、子どもでも読めるように漢字にふりがなのふられた日本語訳。漢字としては、小学校低学年向けくらいのレベルです。

それががひとつのアルファベにつき７〜１０こ、かわいいイラストといっしょに紹介されています。子ども向けのみじかい文、とはいえ、フランス人でないなら大人でも勉強になるフレーズやボキャブラリー・表現が満載！


眺めてるだけでも飽きないし、チビッコといっしょに読むこともできるし、もしかしたら子どもたちもフランス語に興味がわくかも。ちっちゃい子が、日本語を読む練習にもなると思います。フランスの子どもたちは彼の絵本でフランス語を勉強していたそうだけど、母国語としてだから、日本の子どもたちがこれでフランス語を覚えるのにはかなり無理があるので、それは期待しないほうがいいと思います。


この値段でこのボリューム、絵本としてもフランス語を読む練習の本としても、ぜったいオススメです♪
