悪かなかったけど、良くもなかった。
外に向けた”ザ・コレクターズ　ガイドブック”です。
もっと内に向けたマニアックな内容（「加藤ひさしの大宇宙」とか）を期待していたから肩すかしをくらった感じでした。

彼らにはミュージシャンにファンが多いということで、有名人からのメッセージを収録しているところが、コレクターズの名前に反して普通のミュージシャン本っぽくて、なんか居心地が悪かったです（「彼らもコレクターズのファンなんだよ」と持ち上げている風にも読める）。

他には彼らの本はないのでこれはこれで価値はあるんでしょうね。

コレクターズの本ということで迷わず購入したのですが、期待していた以上に濃い内容で大満足です。
メンバーのインタビューはもちろん、各メンバーの音楽性を紹介していくページが読み応えありました。楽器に詳しくない私にもそれぞれの特徴が分かり、いままでとは違う聴き方が楽しめるようになりました。
裏話続出のプロデューサー・インタビューも、興味津々で一気に読めてしまったし、「加藤ひさしが選んだ100枚のアルバム」を通して今まで知らなかった音楽に手を伸ばせるのも魅力です。
「過小評価されている音楽面に光を当てる」というコンセプトも一貫され、全シングル／アルバムのレビューも多数の音楽評論家の客観的で正直な視点から書かれていて興味深いです。

ガイド本としても良く出来ているので、従来のファン以外に、これからコレクターズに触れる人にもオススメできる一冊です。
