まず初めに私は大前研一氏を深く敬愛する者の一人であることをお断りした上で、本書についての感想を述べたい。
結論から言えば、本書では大前氏の肉親が氏の幼少時からのプライベートな側面を語っているが、その内容は氏とごく近しい人々の間において「エピソード」として語られるならば許されようが、このような形で世間一般に晒されるべき筋合いのものではないと思う。
芸能人ならまだしも、氏は国際的な経営コンサルタントであり、一般読者は氏の優れた見識に触れたいとは思うものの、氏のプライベートな部分についてなど聞きたくもないのである。
勿論、一部に興味本位で他人の私生活を覗き見したいと思う向きもあろうかと思うが、そのような俗っぽい風潮に乗る形でこのような出版をするべきではないと考えるが如何であろうか。

タイトルどおり大前研一さんの｢年下の妹｣さんが書かれた本で、大前さんの"人"と"なり"が良くわかる本です。

どんな人物にも、その人がその人たる理由があり、ロジカルシンキングや、プロフェッショナリズムなどのクールなイメージが強い大前さんの素顔の部分が良く分かります。

もちろん暴露本ではないし、非常に丁寧に書かれた本なので、人間・大前研一にご興味がある人のみご覧になると良いと思います。

確かにこの本は大前研一さんのプライベートを語っています。しかし、これは彼の肉親だからこそ語れるものであり、興味がある人も多いのではないでしょうか？
大前研一さんの物事に対する見識に関する本なら100冊以上も出版されている中、知られざる彼の一面が見れるこの本は貴重であると思います。
