可愛い絵柄で意外に暗く陰惨な話を書くのがうまい作家さんです。
前作ナイトメア☆チルドレンに関係した作品ですが、その時のような容赦のなさはなく、純粋に素敵なファンタジーに仕上がっています。
和めるファンタジーの読みたい人にどうぞ。

藤野さんは長い話よりも、こういう短編を描かせた方が上手いなあと思うのです。
冗長な部分もなく、すっきりと纏まっていて分かりやすくて、素直に面白いと思います。

それから、この話は『ナイトメア☆チルドレン』と密接な関わりを持っています。
懐かしいあの人やらこの人やらの登場に、読んでみてびっくり。
勿論これ1冊でも楽しめますが、合わせて読めば面白さ倍増です。
ナイトメアや邪眼について、それにあの謎の男の正体は、
といったことが気になる方は、是非『ナイ☆チル』も手に取ってみてください。

　「ぷりんせす・ぶらいど・すとーりー」は同作者の「ナイトメア☆チルドレン」の直前のストーリーにあたります。そのため世界観を共有しており、種々の設定において共通のものがいくつか登場します。
　けれどもそれを読んでいないとわからない、ということはなく、単体で十分に楽しめる良質なファンタジーとなっています。ある日拾った不思議な生き物バクが誰かに追われていることを知り、少女ポプリは満月の夜の中、旅立ちます。その先で彼女が知り合う人々、目にする光景は日常では到底見受けられないものでした。ラストもちょっと切なくてじーんと来るもので、これと似たような作品はあまりないと思います。この作品に限らず藤野もやむ作品は「どこかで見たような話」にならないオリジナリティに溢れているので、ぜひ手にとってみてください。
