これはとても役に立つ絵本だ。
なぜ、動物に服を着せたらいけないのかを、とても解りやすく説明してくれる。

動物といっても様々だがご安心を。
小はネズミから、大は象まで。とげとげの奴、首の長い奴、羽のある奴など
普段みかけない動物まで、ちゃんとフォローされているのが嬉しい。

見開きの半分に、服を着た動物が描かれ、もう半分にシンプルな
言葉で理由が述べられているので、誰も一目瞭然に納得できるでしょう。

作者にありがとうと感謝したい。
もうこれで、動物に服を着せるか着せないかで悩む必要がなくなった。

表紙のやまあらしから、笑えますが、中でも「ややこしいことになる
にわとり」が最高におかしいです♪
翻訳者の「服を着せられたペットが”けっ！”と思っているのでは
ないかと想像している」というコメントなど最後のページまで楽しめ
ます。

表紙を見たとき、「動物が動物のオシャレについて考える会」推薦とあって、そんな会があるのか〜？？？って思い思わず買ってしまいました。
お話もちょっと不思議な感じで、シュールな雰囲気の動物の絵がとても印象的です。
にわとりのズボンが卵の形に膨らんでるのが、妙におかしかったです。
