前半は会社に於いて、後半はプライベートな場でと、
シチュエーション別に論じている。

会社における「雑談力」では、
主として、堅苦しく発展性に乏しい「会議」を
柔軟な発想が出来る場とするための「雑談」について書かれている。

プライベートでは、「雑談力」を身につけるための
話のネタの拾い方や普段の心掛けなどについて書かれている。

マニュアル本では、手取り足取り方法論が述べられているけれど、
この本は「ヒント」的な書き方に止めてある。
マニュアル的な内容を望む方には、ちょっと物足りなく感じるかも。

手取り足取りという感じではないので、
ややインパクトには欠けるかもしれないけど、
普段どういう心がけをすべきかというヒントがちりばめられていて
とても興味深い。

雑談を、人間関係の軽重との関連と、新しい発想を得る一つの手段として考察した著者独自の視点ともいえる興味深い著作である。
