ちょうどいろんなことで煮詰まっていて「あー、自分はダメな奴だ」と落ち込んでいたので
元気づけてくれる本を書店の自己啓発コーナーで探していました。自分と同じ女性が書いたものは、
「私はああやってこうやって乗り越えたのよ！」という自慢話というか、自分の強さ賢さを
アピールしつつ成功者の視点から下々へ指南するようなものばかりで何かうんざりしてしまったので、
男性著者のものでもいいか、と思い手にとったところ、意外にも素直に読めたので買って帰りました。

イヤなことを忘れ去るコツ、挫折に慣れることで成功できること、コンプレックスはむしろ
歓迎すべきものであること・・・などなど、煮詰まっているときに読むと心が軽くなります。
難しいことも書いてなくてすぐに読めます。

　困り果てた時、人はどんな言葉に救われるのだろうか。人にもよろうが、次のような言葉が参考になるかもしれない。
　トンチ話で有名な一休さんは、８７歳で亡くなる間際にも「最後の一計」を案じたのか、弟子たちに一通の書状を手渡し、「今は見てはいけない。今後、何か困った時に開けてみなさい」と言った。その後そんな時が来て開けてみると「なるようになる。心配するな」と書かれていたという。
　本書には「笑顔が自分を強くする」「弱点勝ちで生きてみる」「華麗な失敗で豪快に恥じをかこう」その他ユーモアあふれる教訓が書かれていて楽しくなる（雅）

コンプレックス、失敗、人間関係の気まずさなど、
世間で否定的と取られがちなものを気持ちがよいくらい肯定しています。

こんな考え方もあるんだと
本当に煮詰まる前に読んでみると、もっと気持ちが楽になるのではないでしょうか。
