1回目の通読。怖ろしくスラスラ読めてしまう文章の平易さに、多少の
物足りなさを覚えます。
2回目の通読。平易な文章の行間にコミュニケーションセンスの奥深さ
が垣間見えてきます。しかも同時に、このセンスを使えていない自分
自身のコミュニケーションの浅薄さに愕然とします。
3回目の通読。「うん、わかるわかる。」

少しずつコミュニケーションセンスが磨かれていく自分自身の成長に、
素直に喜びを感じます。
4回目以降。読めば読むほどに言葉の奥に表現されるコミュニケーショ
ンセンスが掴めていく感触に、大きな快感を覚えます。
この本はそんな不思議な魅力を持った、コミュニケーションセンスの
3D本と言えるでしょう。

著者の「パラダイム」というセミナーに参加した後で、
興味を持ったのでこの本を読んだ。

著者はコーチングの第一人者。
「コーチング」というとなんとなく「偉そう」な人を想像するが、
著者はフランクそのもの。

ソフトなので無駄な抵抗がなく入ってくる。

コミュニケーションは求める結果が得られなければ
成功とは言えない。

私たちがふだん、いかに目的の達成に
つながらないコミュニケーションをしているか
思い知らされた。

部下とのコミュニケーションを課題としている人にとって良い参考書だと思う。大半がどこかで聞いたことがある内容だが平易な文書で大変読みやすい本だと思う。しかし、第4章「できない」を「できる」に変えるコミュニケーション部分は「ポジティブになりたがるネガティブな人々」とか「健全に絶望」するとか、「計画でもやる気でも人は動かない」「反省はするな反省は役に立たない」のような、「おやっ」と思われる著者の主張がとてもおもしろい。著者への共感と反論を考える機会も与えてくれます。
