字数無制限形式の論述問題（大学院試験過去問の類題）と、解答・解説が記されている本。実際の試験で解答に倣って記述していてはとても時間が足りないであろうが、“やや長すぎる模範解答”と捉え、自分で要約すれば大きな力になる。辞典や心理学の解説書などを通読していても、実際に論述問題を解答するのは至難の業である。この本は、論述問題にはどう答えれば良いか、という問いに対しある程度のフォーマットを提供してくれる。
また、それぞれの問題には明確なテーマが設定されており（恐らく意図的に）解答を読むことで、そのテーマに関する“流れ”を掴むことが出来る。難点は、出題範囲が比較的狭いことであるが、其処まで要求するのは贅沢だろう。

大学院受験に当たって、私が非常に重宝した本である。大学院受験のみならず、臨床心理士の受験まで長く使える本だと思う。

初めて、心理学系の大学院を受験するのに、こう書けばよいのかというガイドラインが良く分かった。私のように、院試の水準が全く分からないようなものにとってはすごく役立つと思う。

　臨床心理大学院受験、臨床心理士資格試験受験者におすすめ。類書があまりない。基本的な臨床心理関連事項への回答が小論文形式でまとめられている。ロジャース、ラポール、フロイトとユング、などなど。文章は（教官が練りに練ったような文章であり）ややまとまりすぎていて、学生が本番でこれほどの内容を網羅することは困難かもしれない。しかし模範解答を参考にしながら自分なりに本番と同じように時間を測って練習してみると良いだろう。
