ところどころ原作ファンをニヤリとさせる台詞や展開があるものの、タイトルが“Another story”なだけに、ストーリーはオリジナル要素がかなり強いです。ですが、その背景である世界観の描写は文章では限界があり、原作ファンでない人にとっては少々評価が下がるかも。
前半（恋人になるまで）はかなり短く、後半、恋人になってからのデレデレな場面がかなり長く作られています。椰子なごみが好き、という方は是非手に入れるべきと言いたいところですが、本書はデレ要素が強いため、クールで冷たい外側の彼女が好き、という方にはあまりお勧めできません。

基本設定をひとつひとつ丁寧に解説してあるあたり、
原作をプレイしていない人用の作品らしいのですが、
実は原作であったままの会話や原作の設定を食った設定など。
オリジナルのファンだからこそ楽しめるポイントがかなり多いです。

独自の路線を追っているようで、なごみとくっつく展開はちがいますし
テンポもだいぶ緩いのですが、
ところどころ爆笑してしまう会話は共通していて好印象です。

本書は独自のストーリーで展開、
原作に近くて違う展開を見せます。
前半は恋人になるまで後半はひたすらヤリまくりです。
ＭだけではなくＳのなごみも出たりと意外と面白かったですが挿絵に少々不満です、
皆の前ではクールですがレオが絡まれると嫉妬が抑えれないなごみ萌えｗ
